About
Dear Texas Traveler,
Hi. My name is Neil Lemons. I’m a 20-something single adventurer, blogger, Law of Attractionist, lover, mobile lifestyle enthusiast and Internet Journalist. I’m also an entrepreneur, adventurer, employee, brother, and son. I used to write in personal blogs off and on for seven years (since 2001) on other websites, until one day I decided to stop building other people’s content and focus my own blogs and information websites.
I have lived in Dallas, Texas, for five years, and the North Texas area my whole life. I started this site as a Texas travel & tourism guide for solo travelers taking road trips, as well as families with kids traveling from other states looking for the best city tourist attractions, theme parks, and sights to see. This website is also for Texas locals wanting the latest reviews on events, restaurants, bars, and nightlife in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Denton, Houston, and San Antonio. This is an active and interactive website with business profiles which allow comments and reviews. In true a Gonzo Journalism style, from time-to-time I also write Texas adventure/travel stories I’ve experienced myself.
My ultimate plan is to travel to other countries in South America and blog about my trips, but for now I’ll write about where I am and what I love, Texas. I’m quite the foodie and cultural fest attendee, and have been seen at Greek, German, and crawfish festivals all over the state. A bit of a conspiracy theorist, I’m a patriotic/constitutionalist and enjoy listening to talk radio and reading books about the New World Order and Illuminati.
Sincerely,
Neil Lemons
